One morning while getting ready for school, my son Abbott came to me and said "Dad, this ratty old backpack is falling apart and besides, I don't want a bag with cartoons on it -  I'm not a little kid anymore.  I want an Every Day Carry bag like yours!"

As you can imagine, this was quite a revelation for me as a parent on multiple levels!  I was so proud of my son's desire to take on the role of a prepared citizen and, being the Every Day Carry and preparedness enthusiast that I am, I did not hesitate to jump into assembling a quality loadout with him right away.  

Together, we considered what type of bag and items he would need for his daily routine as well as any gear that would enable him render aid to himself and others in the event of an emergency.  He is trained on the use of trauma medical gear as well as wilderness survival, so we added some of those items to the kit.  Lastly, we came across an extra soft ballistic armor panel which fit perfectly into the bag he chose from my collection.

Noticing the fun we were having with our Every Day Carry bag project, my wife chimed in and said "You know guys, that would make a neat business and be a helpful service to people as well!"  And BOOM!  Ready, Set, Go! EDC Bags was born!

Our Mission is to equip people of all ages and walks of life with the tools they need to become strong, smart, capable and ethical prepared citizens.
